The location in the forest was perfect and the grounds of the property were beautifully maintained. However, the best thing about staying here was the superb food - both the huge included breakfasts and also the optional evening meals, which were outstanding and great value for money. I even had the chance to try ostrich neck as a special option! If you stay here, make sure you eat here in the evening at least once.

Everything was great except booking through booking.com
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
There are people who do something just to earn money and there are people who do it out of passion. The hostess Tilly is certainly one of those people who love what they do. A beautiful property with a very dedicated hostess with attention to detail. The location of the accommodation is a very good starting point for activities in the National Park.
Our stay at this gorgeous property was wonderful! The unit is modern, stylish, and has everything you need. We even had our own private BBQ!
Tilly the hostess surprised us with delicious rusks and fresh figs on arrival.
Breakfast at the charming diner was fabulous and there is an assortment of preserves and wonderful rusks to buy.
We will be back next year!

The host is very caring. Always made sure that we are ok and we have everything we need. Even brought us cakes from her bakery in the evening.
Located in a central place, very close to most attractions.
Cottage 1 felt like living in a beautiful garden. The backside view was great and we had everything we needed during our two night stay. Tilly is a great host and I’m the restaurant you can get wonderful breakfast or also snacks. We felt home and can only recommend to stop while driving on N2, it’s worth it.
