Set in the historic centre of Traunkirchen, at the shore of the Traunsee lake, Apartments im LOIDLs GUESTHOUSE offers a garden and free WiFi. Private on-site parking is available at a surcharge. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

The hotel was beautiful, we felt very welcome, the location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed Landhaus Hotel during our family ski trip and loved everything. Maria and Ferdinand went beyond and above to take good care of us. The room was comfortable and we had delicious breakfast included. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we felt like visiting our family! The hotel is a walking distance from the village but for the ski lift is better to take a free ski bus, I guess this was the only small inconvenience.

I was a solo traveller here and I felt very well looked after by the owners and staff. My room was beautiful, with a view of the river and mountains. There was even a view of a waterfall from the shower! There's a very nice place for swimming just a few minutes walk away from the hotel and it's about 7 minutes walk to the train station, which is well connected to towns and cities in the region. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with very generous portions. And I would recommend eating at the restaurant, which had a really nice atmosphere and fantastic traditional dishes.
