KI Dragonfly Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house in Kingscote, where guests can make the most of its terrace and barbecue facilities. Susie & Bruno were fabulous, over the top hosts who made us feel immediately at home in their very comfortable guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and “breaking bread” with the other guests from around the world. They included us in their meal even though we arrived late. We wish we could have stayed much longer to continue to experience their hospitality as well as take in even more of Kangaroo Island. I will tell all of my friends to seek them out!

Located in American River, The River Suites, Kangaroo Island provides accommodation with a pool with a view, a patio and sea views. Dhea was an extraordinarily friendly and forthcoming host. The rooms were tidy and beautiful. There are black cockatoos, koalas, kangaroos, pelicans and even seals, stingrays as well as dolphins to be seen if you are lucky

Set in Pelican Lagoon in the Kangaroo Island region and Island Beach reachable within 1.2 km, Island Alive Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area... Wonderful cabin in the woods! Kangaroos and wallabies were visiting the area to get some water - it was an amazing experience. Would definitely come back :)

Situated in Kingscote in the Kangaroo Island region, CandE’s Guesthouse features accommodation with free private parking. Friendly hosts, spacious accommodation and very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything one would need for self-catering. There was a washing machine and dryer which was an added bonus. Quality sheets and towels and everything was immaculately clean

Wedgetaildown is located in Parndana and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Wedgetaildown is an extraordinary destination. The accommodation may be the best VRBO/AirBnB we have ever stayed in. It is a perfect size for one or two people. The unit is lovely inside, with very comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork, and with huge windows looking out over the wild property. The unit is perfectly appointed and supplied. Although it attached to the main house, you wouldn't know it as the rammed-earth walls prevent any noise transmission, as well as keeping the room cool in summer. We found the kitchen to be well designed, and it had everything that we could want, including a delicious basket of breakfast food. The shower was delightful, and there was a washing machine, which came in very handy!

Boasting lake views, of Stone & Wood guesthouse features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 29 km from Christmas Cove Marina. A well designed house which kept temperature stable day and night. Beautiful views / sunsets and tranquil setting.

Situated in Penneshaw and only 1.6 km from Little Conguinar Beach, Lindsays of Kangaroo Island features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely house, lovely location, lovely people. Very helpful. House v well stocked with everything you could need.
