Best of all - the perfect and supremely welcoming hosts.

We had the best time at Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and treated us like we were part of the village / family. The meals were excellent. The activities were well planned, interesting, diverse, and the pacing of the schedule was perfect for our family (which includes three small kids ages 6 and under, including one who naps midday). Our English-speaking tour guide was fantastic and spent more time with us than we ever expected. The lodge is also located in a village that has a number of great sustainability and development projects, so you get to live a bit of the quiet village life while also soaking up all the energy and passion of a community that is creating their own positive impact. Would highly recommend!

Hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutus Ponta Poranga Jungle Lodge asub Manausis, Manause kohtuhoonest 48 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad ning privaatne parkla. This neat and very well looked after jungle lodge is not only beautiful and authentic but also safe in the sense of bad surprises by snakes or spiders due to intelligent planting. Everything is done for the comfort and authentic jungle experience of the guests - only 5 chalets although they have space for very much more. I will never forget bathing in the beautiful stream which becomes a river in winter. The food was amazing and the tours very personal and intimate. However the best thing about this lodge is the owner, Alexandre, whose has a big heart for the animals and nature surrounding him. He agreed not only to feed the starving neighbors dog, but came up with the idea of taking that poor dying animal to his beautiful lodge, to feed it and even provide medical care. This is what we did on my last day - we went to the neighbor and brought the thinnest dog which wouldn't even move to his lodge, we washed it, fed it and provided first help for its damaged skin and open wounds. Alexandre is a very special person with a big big heart - God bless him and give him strength and power to help and care for those who so badly need it. My stay was an unforgettable, unique and beautiful experience - I will definitely be back to check on the rescued dog, who we renamed Mariposa, meaning a big brown butterfly in indigenous language and spend more time in this beautiful place.

The place is located in the heart of center of the city. Had lots of restaurants nearby. Easily accessible to port, buses. Checkin was super easy. Elissa (the owner ) provided all the details before arrival. The property owner was super friendly and was responding to messages very quickly . All the locks are automatic. Safety and security is well maintained. The rooms were neat and clean. Water available 24/7. Hot water was available for shower.
