Featuring a shared lounge, Berggasthaus Tannalp is located in Frutt in the Obwalden region, 35 km from Giessbachfälle and 31 km from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg. Everything was on the top level. The location is perfect and the staff were very helpful! Will definitely come back. The only wish I would add is to have fresh vegetables for breakfast (like tomatoes/cucumbers).

Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

Our rustic-style 3-star hotel with 12 rooms enjoys an idyllic, sunny and quiet location on the edge of the village, offering superb panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Nice, cozy, quiet little place. Could tell the staff was concerned about our well-being.
