Situated in Playa Blanca, Vista Linda Cabaña features free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. There is a restaurant and bar and guests can enjoy the water park. The guest house has family rooms. We had an amazing stay at Vista Linda. We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

Great decoration style and ambient to stay safe and as home. El Mono and his wife are real super hosts. Great deal! the place is just as it appears on the app. Very responsive people and kind hosts. The place is gorgeous, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the ocean view is simply amazing. Worth to be there!

At the guest house, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Latin American cuisine. Great location and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Pizzas were lovely but dinner was not so much. And spent only one night and think it’s a great value for money.

The staff was super nice, Carlos is a good guest and he provide us food and utilities that we needed, super kind, and also de owner Daiber was so kind with us. Is a basic room but is in front of the beach, you sleep with the sound of the waves, so healthy and nice. I would recommend the night here for y'all

Guests are welcome to eat in the on-site restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. Really great to spend a night here after all the day trippers are gone. Very chill. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, certain rooms at the inn also offer a sea view. At Casa MAGGY BARU BEACH each room has a seating area. My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Maggy Beach. It is just like on the pictures. A simple accommodation but everything that is needed in the hot climate: a fan over the bed, fresh water to rinse off after a dip in the ocean, a gorgeous view, and a lovely, caring staff that will make sure you have anything you want when you want it (shoutout to Wendy). A must-visit if you're near the coast!

Facing the seafront in Playa Blanca, Mi Cabañita Guest House has a garden and a terrace. The property features sea and garden views, and is a few steps from Playa Blanca. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This place was a real treat for me: the house is quite small, completely made on wood and hanging over the blue water, and just very cosy to be inside of. The hosts, Dianis and Macarena, are absolutely lovely :) For people to know, the WC facilities are quite basic (which totally didn't bother me): flushing is made with a water bucket and there's one shower without warm water (which is generally not needed under the caribbean heat). The breakfast is delicious, with a fair portion and quite diversed.

Hostal El Nido del Azulejo is set in Baru. A public bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a traditional restaurant.

Sightseeing tours are available within easy reach. A baby safety gate is also available at the guest house, while guests can also relax in the garden. Very nice and interesting village. We had an amazing time on the tours with the senior of the hostel. The atmosphere at the hostel was always open and friendly. We’d stay there again.
