Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

The hostel is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach and run by Adrian and Lina who are very kind and always on hand to help. They offer trips to see the waterfalls, turtles and, most importantly, to go whale watching. The dorms are clean, comfortable and well presented. I'd recommend Mr Jerry to anyone wanting a glimpse of paradise.

Staff was excellent and very accommodating and made sure we had plenty to do and see while we were there!

The view is absolutely stunning and you can walk down to the beach in seconds or into the village in about 10 minutes. The room was clean and spacious and also had a view of the beach. Plenty of hammocks to relax and enjoy the view and a good book The Pacific coast is one of my favorite places we visited in Colombia and staying in El Valle for the whale watching was convenient. I doubt you'll find a better place or a better host in El Valle who speaks both English and Spanish Thank you Monica 🙌

They will help you with anything you need. The town was experiencing power outages and they even turned on the generator so that I could work remotely. So much quieter here than in the town. They have tons of cats and dogs all over the property which I loved
