Looks straight out onto beautiful forest from both balconies. very well kitted out kitchen and comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Walk to the waterfall to swim and private night tours by Wendy were fantastic as were the meals cooked by her family. Can’t praise it enough!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa del Cafe-Familiar is a guest house set in a historic building in Heredia, 40 km from Poas National Park. Such a beautiful historic home! The hosts were gracious and kind, and the grounds were beautiful! If we return and need a place to say in the San Jose area this will be at the top of the list!

Featuring mountain views, Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 33 km from La Paz Waterfall. Wendy’s place is incredible, a beautiful house, private and surrounded by nature. The nights were with perfect temperature and you sleep with the sound of nature, something we needed to get accustomed with. But we had the best sleep for 4 nights! We booked the full experience with breakfast and dinners brought dearly by Wendy’s mom, who was a bit like our mom too. If you speak a bit of spanish, this will stay as your favorite memory of the house, like for us. The waterfall of the neighbour’s property is also superb and had it just for us, is bigger than it looks on photos! We also saw some toucans from the balcony and hummingbirds. A little paradise we recommend to everyone.

Offering a bar and city view, Brisas del Aeropuerto is set in Heredia, 44 km from Poas National Park and 9.2 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. The house was clean and tidy and made a good impression. A comfortable room with facilities (eg Refrigerator, ice) available in the kitchen area adjacent to the breakfast room. Breakfast was 'tipco' but nice with lovely fresh fruits and good coffee. The courtyard was pleasant to sit out in during the evening and apart from barking dogs (external to the property) was very peaceful.

Vistas del Conde offers accommodation in Heredia. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Some rooms have a seating area for your convenience. Location was excellent, beautiful views, great staff. Close to many walks and forest areas. Bed was comfortable room was a good size, had a balcony with fireplace but the wood was damp so it didn't burn well. We had booked 3 nights left after 2 and the owner was very accommodating
