Location is quite and picturesque with convenient connections to everyone. Kitchen in the room is fully equipped with nice selection of cutlery and dishes. Breakfast is good with wide variety of cheese, spreads, breads, tee and delicious jams of crazy flavors. Also chairs in the breakfast hall are comfy provoking to sit and stare in the windows. Bed in the room is amazing, I haven't slept that good for ages! Compared to other hotels nearby parking facilities seem to be outstanding.

Fantastic place Kurort Rathen, nice pension with excellent location - near the ferry and railway station, comfortable room, very tasty and rich breakfast, fine staff. Bonus is the free entrance to the Eisenbahnwelten - park with moving train models, that is interesting not only for kids but also to adults.

The staff were excellent and friendly. Location is superb. Important that guests read carefully the instructions how to get to the facility. It is in a nature park and needs permission to drive there. Do not rely on Google map as it sends you the wrong way.

Self check-in but it was pretty easy. It provided free parking space. Conveniently located for access to the Sachsen Swiss National Park. Great value.

Good breakfast included. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Bus and train stations 15 minutes walk away, which make access to Saxony Switzerland and Dresden so easy. Both of them are about 20 minutes by train. Old Pirna is lovely and Pension Donatus was the perfect choice for sightseeing in the area. By the way, the car park at the Pension (£10 a night) is so cool. You drive the car into the garage, take all your luggage out, and it disappears to a car park underground 😄

Overall we liked the apartment. It's a cozy, neat apartment. There was everything we needed for convenience and nearby starting points for hiking. The hostess is very nice and willing to help at all times!
