Situated within 800 metres of Punta Popy Beach and less than 1 km of Las Ballenas Beach in Las Terrenas, Casa Barbara provides accommodation with seating area. The place is absolutely beautiful! The garden is like a jungle and the pool is super nice. I loved waking up early and going for a swim and watching the birds in the garden. The owners are very nice and helpful, and their dogs are so cute. They have delicious coffee they offer for free and really thought of everything, even netflix on the TV in the bungalow. We loved it, highly recommend!

Located within 1.4 km of Las Galeras Beach and 2.8 km of Madama Beach, 21 Palms features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Las Galeras. The apartment was great, spacious and clean. There was this cute balcony where we had breakfast. The hot tub was a nice feature as well. We could use the kitchen to prepare quick meals and they provided drinking water. The host was a very nice Italian man, always with a smile on his face.

Located in Las Terrenas, 200 metres from Punta Popy Beach, Las Palmas Eco Residence provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The place is like a little secret garden and is just so beautifully maintained. The staff is outstanding and even though we had tone of questions and support requests were very relaxed about it and very informative. The place was very spacious and clean.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa ARCOIRIS is located in Las Galeras, 600 metres from La Playita Beach. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The construction of the building is incredible: the rooms are spacious, the floors and walls are covered with what seems to be stone tiles reminiscent of a Roman palace. The wood that finished the construction is robust, sanded, and stained with polyurethane. I don’t know this for a fact, but the owner and designer of the place must be German. Everything in the place resembles a well built German house. Much nicer space than any of the resorts I have stayed in.

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Located in Santa Bárbara de Samaná, 400 metres from El Valle Beach, La Colmena RD provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. the common areas are beautiful, there is a small vegetable garden where you can pick your herbs for cooking in the shared kitchen.

We had a wonderful experience in Las Galeras, and a big part of it was thanks to Dario, an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. From the very first moment, he welcomed us warmly and ensured that we had everything we needed to feel at home. The accommodation he provided was simply perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and set in a breathtaking natural environment. The area is peaceful and far from mass tourism, making it not only beautiful but also incredibly pleasant. It was the ideal retreat to relax after spending our days exploring the stunning beaches nearby. Dario didn’t just offer us the best possible conditions for our stay—he constantly made sure we had great recommendations on how to make the most of our time in Las Galeras. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered hidden gems and explored some of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. The excursions he suggested were spectacular, taking us to breathtaking locations we would have never found on our own. His kindness, availability, and passion for the place made our experience even more authentic and unforgettable. It’s rare to find a host so attentive and caring!
