It is actually a very lovely B&B rather than a staffed hotel, but the host gave us everything we needed to access the property as we needed. It is such a stunning building & so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep.

Beautiful food & drink with lovely company. The pets are adorable too. The area is gorgeous & perfect for a quiet get away

He is very knowledgeable about the local producers and the area as a whole. Breakfast was a huge spread, including fresh orange juice and coffee. This is a wonderful place to stay. I wish we could have spent more than 1 night.

What an amazing and interesting place to stay. We loved the experience of staying in a centuries-old listed building and discovering aspects of it's history and architecture. Having a great breakfast in a dining room steeped in history was memorable. Secondly, Paul and Melissa were fantastic hosts and it was wonderful to get to know them. Meeting them added to the whole wonderful experience of staying at Le Chateau. If they invite you to chat with them over tea, grab the chance!

You really need a car to stay here and we had to depend on taxis, but the owner gave us a ride twice, which was very kind of them. We were recommended to go to the wolf park and it was amazing. Such a relaxing, comfortable stay. The owners enjoy being around to chat at breakfast and I enjoyed this very much to improve my French and learn more about the area. I would definitely like to stay again.
