Very thoughtfully designed Bungalows and other facilities. Beautiful beach close by. Snorkeling tours were amazing and even more so because of our knowledgeable guide Esni. They were so kind, nice and helpful. Vence, Oscar, Rio and all the rest did their best to make us comfortable. It is a veey peaceful island. The beach front bungalows were basic (Raja Ampat style homestay) but very comfortable and clean. The view from the bungalows was amazing, also wonderful sunset. The shared bathroom and toilet was always clean. Family always keep the homestay very clean. The food was great. We had different varieties and even snacks in the afternoon. They always put hot water for our tea and coffee all day. Vence speaks pretty good English and he helped us a lot for our tours. We picked here since it is closer to Wayag so we did Wayag tour with them and it was amazing! We also did snorkel tours where we saw manta too :) We absolutely recommend here to stay to go to Wayag (it takes 2 hours to go there from here).

The guesthouse is quaint, located in a quiet area of town. The room was exactly what we needed after a long journey to Raja Ampat. Our hostess was very gracious and helpful. We will be going to stay there again.

The host is very friendly and invited me to local activities, which you cannot join at commercial tour. She also invited me to the dinner even after I left this guest house. The time I spent at this stay is unforgettable and incomparable.

This is a very good family run homestay, clean, comfortable bungalows on the water. The family is very kind, the food varied and delicious. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot!

This was my 2nd stay with Adel at Rumah Marianne and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. She's the best! Last year, my cell phone hadn't been working for some time in my travels through Raja Ampat when I arrived back in Sorong. I was frantic and she immediately took me to a nearby phone repair shop who determined, with her language translation help, that I just needed a new charger. I was so thankful then for her assistance. This stay she arranged a taxi pickup for me at the ferry from Waisai with photos of the driver and his car's location to avoid the usual mayhem at the dock. The price was the usual fare and the taxi driver arranged to take me to the airport the next morning. Adel truly cares about her guests' comfort. She is in the process of adding a restaurant which will be a welcome addition. She has a convenient kitchen as well which is available for guest use. Thanks again, Adel, for making me feel at home away from home! Looking forward to my next visit...

We stayed 4 nights at Or Mandira Homestay, and it was probably our favorite stop on our entire Raja Ampat trip. Though there are four bungalows, we were the only guests staying so it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. You can't beat the location. It sits on a thin strip of Piaynemo Island so you have access to both coasts though the resort itself faces west. It's only a 15-20 minute (very affordable) boat trip away from all the best snorkeling spots (Rufas, Napolean, Fam Wall, Melissa's Garden) as well as the Piaynemo viewpoint. There were always 2 or 3 guys from the resort with us on all of our excursions and were never far from us in the boat. No network connection, but there is wifi when the electricity is on in the evenings (and sometimes in the afternoon). Basic, clean bungalows with a hammock. Simple home cooked meals for lunch and dinner, pastries for breakfast and snacks. Overall, our stay was excellent!
