What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! The host was so friendly and helpful! He offered to drive us to restaurants/activities on the island for free. You can also rent a car here if you want. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The property also has lake access. I’m happy I stayed here!

Probably the best place to stay on Lake Toba. The property is clean and new and run by a lovely local family who arranged scooters for us. There is a water sport centre just on the lake and we had a great time on the jet skis and banana boat. The ferry drops you directly at the property too! The family room was spacious and great value for money.

I love this place! Our terrace was next to the lake with absolutely stunning view! Hot shower all day. Is possible rent a motorbike for a very good price. Breakfast is not included, but you can buy every day very tasty breakfast or dinner. Staff was so kind and helpful. I wanna be there forever :-)

Spent two perfect and happy days at Hisar's guesthouse. Mama Evy and Hisar were very helpful. I went to the wrong pier and Hisar came to take me by bike and helped me plan my day trip. Mama Evy is an amazing woman who has brought up the children and cooked delicious meals. Chatting with them really felt like home and I will come back again in the future! Thank you for your care
