Sumatra Expedition Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Bukit Lawang, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Les instal•lacions estan en un entorn meravellós. Tot el personal, absolutament tots són un encant, parlen anglès i són súper atents. El menjar que cuinen és boníssim i s’adapten a tu sense problema. Allà t’ofereixen els trekkings per la selva i el guia que nosaltres vam tenir va ser top! El preu del trekking és estàndard i marcat pel govern, per tal no perdeu temps en buscar altres empreses més econòmiques. Els seus guies són molt respectuosos amb la natura i els animals. Durant el nostre trekking vam veure guies d’altres empreses que no ho eren tant i això per nosaltres era molt important, així que molt contentes per escollir Sumatra Lodge Expedition. Vaig tenir un accident al seu hotel i l’amo de seguida es va preocupar d’ajudar-me, em va portar al metge i em va aconseguir un conductor privat que em va portar a les 10 de la nit a la capital, a l’hospital. Quan reserves amb ells t’ofereixen l’opció d’un conductor privat que et recull a l’aeroport i et porta cap a l’hotel. El camí són unes 3-4hores. Recomanem aquesta opció, ja que el transport públic és una bogeria i no saps quan trigaràs… Durant el camí amb el cotxe privat, el conductor ens va aturar a comprar-nos una SIM, ens va semblar molt cara i ell, súper amable ens va portar a un altre lloc més econòmic. 100% recomanable!

A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek is set in Bukit Lawang. This homestay offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The accommodation is basic but perfect for a quick rest before or after the jungle trek. The jungle trek itself was a great adventure - we were lucky enough to spot lots of orang utans and a bunch of other wildlife, and had a great time with our 2 guides (special thanks for their Indonesian lessons!). Big shout out also to the chef, we were so well-fed with the most delicious food every evening!

Situated in Padang, 1.5 km from Air Manis Beach, Air Manis Hillside Villa Cafe & Resto features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is well located. It is off the beaten track so it is quiet and peaceful (unless the neighbor has karaoke), but it is only a 10-minute scooter ride to the center. Breakfasts do not have a large selection, but everything is fresh and delicious (including local fruit). The staff tries very hard with every contact. Thank you very much to Rivaldi and Herwin for their hospitality, smiles and kindness. I recommend Air Manis Hillside!

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. - Les habitacions tenen mosquiteres a les finestres i al llit, que realment van molt bé. - L’esmorzar estava molt bo i la noia que el preparava i servia va ser molt simpàtica, tot i que el vem trobar bastant car comparat amb la resta dels esmorzars que hem estat fent (tenen menús d’esmorzar per 80.000 i si demanes per carta la mitjana dels plats valen 40-50.000).

Very kind and lovely family that does everything to make your stay perfect. Beautiful garden. Great food and nice view on the river from their restaurant terrace. They organised private transport from the airport and guided jungle hike for very reasonable price.

We had a fantastic time at Cheeky Monkeys. The staff were incredibly kind, and it was wonderful to hang out with them in the common area. They were also very helpful with everything we needed. Our jungle trekking experience with them was absolutely awesome! Huge thanks to all the guides at Cheeky Monkeys. We highly recommend staying here; the rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the garden is simply astonishing.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Bukit Lawang, Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. Very beautiful guesthouse in stunning surroundings. The staff (Arif and Risky) was amazing and so helpful. They were always available and present and had interest in us as guest.
