The room was spacious, clean and this place is quiet. I had good sleep while staying in the homestay. The owners are very friendly to give you any assistance.

Very friendly, family run hotel very close to the center. The owner of the hotel Mr. Gonbo was very helpful, he organized an excellent program for us for four days. The room with balcony is very spacious. On the last night he fed us dinner and lit a campfire. The hotel is located in a very pleasant courtyard with huge trees and vegetable garden with two cute dogs. We will be happy to come back anytime.

I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

The organically-grown apples from their garden were delicious and that added a unique and delightful dimension to my stay. Beyond the comfortable accommodation and picturesque surroundings, what truly set this homestay apart was the family's willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guests felt like a part of their extended family. Whether it was offering local insights, organizing cultural experiences, or simply engaging in heartwarming conversations, their genuine enthusiasm for hosting made every moment special. For hiking enthusiasts, I embarked on the Markha Valley trek, and they arranged for a local guide while also offering transportation to and from the trailhead. In a world where genuine hospitality can sometimes be hard to come by, Raku Guesst House stands out as a shining example. I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking not just accommodation but an authentic and heartwarming experience that leaves a lasting imprint of warmth and kindness. I stayed here my first days in Leh, and came back again for a few nights before leaving. Everything is clean, beds are very comfortable and warm, beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace. Far enough from the town center to be quiet and peaceful- it is possible to walk to the bazaar but in the first 48 hrs you may need to take a cab back up the hill. Hot water + wifi worked nicely. Great meals available from the kitchen, and filtered water for refilling one's own bottle. Padma was very kind, accommodating, and helpful when it came to booking taxis. I would stay here again!

The room is comfortable, simple but nicely decorated. One room has big windows on two sides, the view is very enjoyable. Enough sockets near the bed. The staff are very kind. The dinner is so awesome!

Highly recommend this guest house - the rooms are very spacious, clean and have everything what you need to feel comfortable. All the rooms have Access to balconies too. The location is great as well - really close to The main market and other amenities. The family that owns the guest house is lovely and caring and very helpful. Thank you so much for this great time i had in your place. I will defnitely get back to this guest house whenever in Leh and i will recommend it to anybody going there too.

The family who run the hotel took great care of us. Not only were they great hosts, they also helped us organise our motorbike trip around the country in a truly friendly Ladakhi way.
