We travel often and I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to leave one for the hosts of this property. We LOVED these hosts!!!!!! Honestly, the best hosts we have ever encountered. Communication after booking, prior to check-in and while there was excellent and I could not ask for kinder, more prompt or attentive responses. We arrived on a very early morning flight with four children. The hosts were so unbelievably considerate and had an assortment of cereal and milk waiting for us. It's a great location to KEF and to the bridge between continents. Often photos will make a space look larger than it is but this home was very spacious for our family of six. It was very clean and very well stocked. If we ever make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay with these hosts again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.

The apartment was decorated very well with Nordic feel and quality. It was clean and short drive from airport. With the kitchen, we could make an easy breakfast in the morning.

A delicious home made breakfast that was healthy and tasty. Included a slice of rhubarb pie that is a family recipe from Andi’s mom back in Sweden. They offered slippers to wear around indoors, and sandals to wear outdoors. So much chilled water available in a small fridge. A very clean bathroom and shower with nice amenities. All of that was great, but having pleasant hosts was much needed, unexpected and a delight.

Tasuta WiFi-ühenduse, parkla ja aiaga hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutus Sól - S12 guesthouse asub Keflavíkis, 20 km kaugusel Sinisest laguunist ja 45 km kaugusel Pärlist. As a solo traveler, having positive interactions with hosts feels important. The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Our room was on the 2nd floor so beware there is no lift. There are enough bathrooms and toilets. Huge eating area for guests but only basic amenities. Coffee on the house is good. Location so near the airport. Overall a nice stay if you want to be near to the airport.
