We travel often and I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to leave one for the hosts of this property. We LOVED these hosts!!!!!! Honestly, the best hosts we have ever encountered. Communication after booking, prior to check-in and while there was excellent and I could not ask for kinder, more prompt or attentive responses. We arrived on a very early morning flight with four children. The hosts were so unbelievably considerate and had an assortment of cereal and milk waiting for us. It's a great location to KEF and to the bridge between continents. Often photos will make a space look larger than it is but this home was very spacious for our family of six. It was very clean and very well stocked. If we ever make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay with these hosts again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.

Grindavik Guesthouse er staðsett í aðeins 7,6 km fjarlægð frá Bláa lóninu og býður upp á gistirými í Grindavík með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og alhliða móttökuþjónustu. I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!

Garður Apartments er staðsettur í litla strandbænum Garði, í aðeins 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Keflavíkurflugvelli. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Allt svo hreint og fínt, öll smáatriði í lagi :)

Hið fjölskyldurekna Guesthouse 1x6 er staðsett í gamla hluta Keflavíkur, í 7 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Keflavíkurflugvelli og í 20 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Bláa lóninu. A delicious home made breakfast that was healthy and tasty. Included a slice of rhubarb pie that is a family recipe from Andi’s mom back in Sweden. They offered slippers to wear around indoors, and sandals to wear outdoors. So much chilled water available in a small fridge. A very clean bathroom and shower with nice amenities. All of that was great, but having pleasant hosts was much needed, unexpected and a delight.

Sól - S12 guesthouse er nýlega enduruppgert og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, bílastæði á staðnum og garð. Gististaðurinn er í Keflavík, 20 km frá Bláa lóninu og 45 km frá Perlunni. As a solo traveler, having positive interactions with hosts feels important. The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Blue Viking Guesthouse er staðsett í Keflavík, 21 km frá Bláa lóninu, 47 km frá Perlunni og 48 km frá Hallgrímskirkju. Very nice building with many guestrooms. Our room was on the 2nd floor so beware there is no lift. There are enough bathrooms and toilets. Huge eating area for guests but only basic amenities. Coffee on the house is good. Location so near the airport. Overall a nice stay if you want to be near to the airport.
