House located in a quiet area, opposite Kirkjufell (the remarkable place of the area), with a well-equipped kitchen and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Out of 7 times visiting Iceland, we never stopped in Stykkisholmur - this was long overdue. I think we picked the perfect place to enjoy this town, as Monika was an outstanding host. We pretty much had the guesthouse all to ourselves, as a group of 7 people. We enjoyed all the nice touches from the owner, all the little extras like some food in the fridge, 2 types of coffee to choose from in the morning, and the games and books in the living room. We were a bit in a rush to continue our tour and head back to Keflavik the next day, which was our only regret as we could not enjoy the guesthouse a bit longer.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. We really liked this place - lovely and spacious house that looked small from outside, but is so comfortable and nice inside. Everything was clean, bed is comfortable, well equipped kitchen, clear instructions about most important things and also additional information about Icelandic traditions. :) Very nice location - the view from windows is amazing - a lake, mountain and church. Very good experience, highly recommend this place!

Serene setting on the bank of the calm sea, with some historic value for the locals.Apartment was very spacious, beds very comfortable and views just wonderful. The host was wonderful accepting withoutextra charge to rebook our stay by one day (i made a mistake in the dates of the original booking - very, very nice gesture. All the facilities were in pristine condition, we really enjoyed our stay.

Matatagpuan ang Stöð Guesthouse and apartments sa Grundarfjordur. Nagtatampok ng complimentary WiFi at available on-site ang private parking. Very easy self check-in. The room is quite small but totally enough, and has a private shower and toilet. The views to the mountain straight from the room are magnificent. The kitchen is large and we'll equipped. Overall great value for money.
