The location is really nice, located up in the mountains away from the busier area. And every direction you walk from there is really nice. The staff was really lovely and accommodating. We had access to the entire house, and all the facilities were included, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The host was amazing—extremely friendly and always available to answer any questions or offer assistance..The host responded promptly to our messages, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Loved summer hiking from this beautiful mountain lodge to escape the city heat. 3 minutes walk to bus service with access to multiple trailheads throughout Shiga Kogen. The owners create such a welcoming cosy space to escape - thoughtful, stylish, beautifully presented. Incredible quality in a home-feel environment. Private in-house onsen, superb home cooked meals. Highly recommend both breakfast and dinner (best decision)!
