お宿でん吉, a property with a garden, is situated in Minami Aso, 36 km from Suizenji Park, 39 km from Kumamoto Castle, as well as 40 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei. The best accommodation for our trip in Japan. The house is very beautiful, well renovated with very good taste.Three toilets but only one bathroom.The owner and the staff are very kind and full of service mind. We have barbecue with karaoke , singing and dancing with the best audio equipment..The owner well prepared everything for our group including the heater on the floor. We all very appreciated for the hospitality, will come back again.

Wakka has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Minami Aso, 31 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto. Very friendly couple running the lodge. Great view of Aso mountain range and clean facility. Summer stay gave us a glimpse of blueberry picking experience. Onigiri as gift was very tasty.

Located in Kumamoto, Dyeing and Hostel Nakashimaya - Female Only provides 1-star accommodation with private terraces. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. I was using the SunQ bus pass, and this hostel was about a 7 min walk from the bus terminal. I arrived before check-in and was able to drop off my luggage so I could sightsee. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The goldfish in the entryway are stunning. I had a private room with plenty of space for my luggage and futon. The room has an AC/ heater unit and a small table, too. There are bathrooms downstairs and upstairs, and the shower is spacious and clean. I used the upstairs lounge room to relax and chat with another hostel guest. There are A LOT of manga there, but I didn't have a chance to read any. I briefly went to the roof in the rain to see the castle lit up. I didn't have a chance to do laundry or use the kitchen, but everything was neat and easily accessible. I had to leave very early the next morning, and self checkout was easy. I felt at home and very safe staying here, and I can't wait to visit again. The pictures are of the goldfish in the entrance and some sakura on the walk to the bus station.

18 km from Hirayama Hot Spring, 民泊サライ七城 is a recently renovated property located in Kikuchi and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. A wonderful house in the countryside. The scenery around was absolutely beautiful, and there’s an onsen near by to go relax in the evening. The hosts were amazingly kind. We enjoyed our stay there very much

Omusubi guest house (JAPANESE STYLE） is a recently renovated guest house in Mamihara, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. The house is really nice filled with things like piano, guitar, games and lot of cute decoration. The rooms are spacious and the available facilities were enough for the number of people staying.

Located in Shimo-rokka in the Kumamoto region, Ukishimakan Bettei Guest House - Vacation STAY 14350 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. One of the most beautiful places that we stayed in Japan. The owners are amazing and very helpful.

Minami Aso Guest House Hana hana - Vacation STAY 13316 is located in Takamori, 32 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 41 km from Suizenji Park, and 42 km from Kumamoto Castle. The house is quite clean and very beautiful. We enjoy our stay and hope to visit next time. There’s any cooking equipment you need.
