Yukinoso is in a great location - it was a short walk to the bus terminal and also Gondola Adam. There is a nice simple breakfast in the morning to get you ready for the slopes.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!

Chris and Kumi are great hosts. Loved the food Chris prepared, would definitely suggest trying their cafe. Also, Kumi was kind to help keep our luggage on our checkout date for some additional time while we roamed the Matsumoto castle. She also helped with luggage forwarding services, which was a lifesaver. Definitely reccommend coming here.

Really easy to find, car park just in front of the location, staff super helpful throughout our stay, kindly recommending activities for the days, and overall super welcoming and kind :) Supermarket just next to the hotel which is really handy. The centre/castle is around 40 minutes walk away, which was perfect to discover the city and remained a reasonable distance.

Yoshiro-san is an absolute legend so friendly and kind and accomodating. First of all get the breakfast at least once I hope you get the Udon! The location is a little out of town but he is more than happy for you to get around and there is an amazing onsen 8mins walk away. I could not recommend anywhere enough really convenient for the snow monkey park and to ski at shiga kogen. Thank you so much for the amazing stay Yoshiro!

The owners were friendly, kind and beautiful people. They gave me lots of advice on places to see, how to get there, where to eat etc. The room was immaculate and in pristine condition. Really clean and comfortable. I was very well looked after.
