AJITO Hostel & CafeBar asub Shingus, kõigest 500 meetri kaugusel Shingu lossi varemetest. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, baar ja terve päeva valve. The room and facilities are clean. The location is very good. It’s near the bus stop and the convenience store. And if you wake up early like me and there’s no bus at that time, you still able walk to the Shingu station. The hostel has 4 bicycles to be borrowed with no charge. You can ride it around the city.

Set within 1.4 km of Nachi Beach and 1.1 km of Nachikatsuura Sports and Cultural Center, 自由自屋 offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Nachikatsuura. Communication with staff to arrange for luggage storage was great. We had only ~20 minutes to drop-off our suitcases and jump back on a train headed to Tanabe - someone waited there for us. Thank You!!! The location is so close to the train and bus stations, and just a short walk to the waterfront and all of the shops/restaurants. Facility was neat and clean and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend Ji-yu Ji-ya if you are visiting Katsuura.

We stayed here on our way to Koyasan, the final stop of the pilgrimage.(Shikoku 88temples) I am surprised that it is 3600 yen even if you stay with how many people. We stayed with our pet. Of course, the price will not change. Takaji, the owner, is the nicest person. This place is great if you want to communicate with the local. He also welcomes you even if you don't want it. You can use the sauna and the large jacuzzi. You can see the beautiful night sky in the room. If you want, you can enjoy a special experience beyond just staying.

ゲストハウス三軒家, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is set in Shirahama, less than 1 km from Ezura Beach, a 16-minute walk from Shirarahama Beach, as well as 2 km from Rinkaiura Beach. We had a great stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He arranged dinner reservations for us. He also runs a nice coffee shop that we recommend to visit. Overall a great experience! We had a big room with futons. Everything is very clean. The bus stop is really close and a supermarket is very near, too.

The host Koji drove us to our Kumano River tour the next day which was a 20 minute drive and he did it very generously for us. He was very flexible with our check-in time and was extremely gracious and friendly and helpful and made sure we were very comfortable and then left us alone. The apartment was great for four people and it was quirky and spotless and charming. I would definitely stay again.

Kahetärniline Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo asub Koyasanis, 37 km kaugusel Kishi jaamast ja 44 km kaugusel Matsushita pargist. We liked everything about this guest house. The location, the food, the room & especially the lovely staff.
