La J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse si trova a Hongu, a 10 minuti d'auto o a 70 minuti a piedi attraverso il percorso del pellegrinaggio Kumano Kodo dal gran tempio Kumano Hongu Taisha. Posto fantastico!!! Bella atmosfera. Staff gentilissimo. 3 Onsen in struttura. Ottima posizione.

Ike was responsive to our questions before we arrived and helped us plan our next day's Kumano hiking itinerary based on the weather forecast. The dinner at Ike's minshuku was super tasty, we had a really good time eating and watching Ike make okonomiyaki (really good with lots of veggies which we missed in Japan). Definitely recommend getting the dinner/breakfast/lunch package, made our day after a long day's hike!

The location is very good. It’s near the bus stop and the convenience store. And if you wake up early like me and there’s no bus at that time, you still able walk to the Shingu station. The hostel has 4 bicycles to be borrowed with no charge. You can ride it around the city.

Nonostante si trovi nel centro della cittadina il posto è molto tranquillo. Ho apprezzato particolarmente l’accoglienza da parte di molti abitanti di Nachikatsuura e consiglio vivamente a chiunque di visitarla. Per gli amanti del pesce, il tonno che ho provato al ristorante era spaziale.

We stayed here on our way to Koyasan, the final stop of the pilgrimage.(Shikoku 88temples) I am surprised that it is 3600 yen even if you stay with how many people. We stayed with our pet. Of course, the price will not change. Takaji, the owner, is the nicest person. This place is great if you want to communicate with the local. He also welcomes you even if you don't want it. You can use the sauna and the large jacuzzi. You can see the beautiful night sky in the room. If you want, you can enjoy a special experience beyond just staying.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He arranged dinner reservations for us. He also runs a nice coffee shop that we recommend to visit. Overall a great experience! We had a big room with futons. Everything is very clean. The bus stop is really close and a supermarket is very near, too.

The host Koji drove us to our Kumano River tour the next day which was a 20 minute drive and he did it very generously for us. He was very flexible with our check-in time and was extremely gracious and friendly and helpful and made sure we were very comfortable and then left us alone. The apartment was great for four people and it was quirky and spotless and charming. I would definitely stay again.
