In the yard there was a mini pond with a few turtles. Flat is 10min walk from Massy supermarket and bus station/pier. Owners were amazingly helpful and friendly, helped us to get a good value taxi transfers to places we wanted to go and to the airport. Would love to stay there again.

The owner Pat was wonderful and really spoiled us bringing us treats of local food she had made in her kitchen to try. She set us up with a fridge and larder full of basics such as eggs, fruit, condiments, cooking oil etc before we arrive and kindly collected us a KFC to put in the kitchen for our arrival in case we hadn’t eaten. There was everything that we could possibly need in the apartment down to even notepaper and pen and loads of information on what to do/where to eat/ where to go etc. Everyone was lovely friendly and we felt so relaxed. Even though the property was just off the main road it wasn’t unduly busy and didn’t disturb us. Sitting on the balcony you could’ve even see the road as it looks out onto lovely leafy trees.

Room was good enough size to accommodate 2 people with enough storage space. Bathroom is spacious. AC worked well, so did the wi-fi. Hosts are nice and very helpful. Garden is very nice and good place to relax. Surrounding area is mixed, part is houses, some not the most aesthetic, but the rest is nature. Views on the surrounding hills are very nice. Mini-buses pass close to the house, so if you do not want to walk from Soufriere you can always take those (in reasonable time of day) and they are affordable.
