Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

Mr Kalhara is very kind and thoughtful, it was pleasant to stay in his house! Breakfast was very good! Room is super clean. Big bed , clean bedclothes, normally working ac and fan, good hot water! Best recommendations, just book and stay here if it's possible🙂

Cu o situare excelentă în centrul orașului Holambra, Meegahapokuna Resort oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină și o terasă. The host and family were simply wonderful! We arrived around 830pm after a day long road trip, hungry and tired. Kanchana prepared a satisfying meal for the four of us at such short notice. Her husband also arranged tuk tuks for us to tour Anuradhapura. The location is rustic and quiet. A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life

It was the greatest place to stay in Habarana if you are looking for a budget friendly option. The room was with a treehouse chalet. The interior of the room is perfect and well designed in an eco friendly way. The manager is so friendly and professionally helped us with A to Z. There is a nice pool anyone can enjoy. The food is amazing. There was a small boy who assisted with everything perfectly. From the property to the town is close by. They helped us with organizing a village tour that was fantastic. Per person cost was LKR 2500/- including bullock cart ride, Catemoron ride in Habarana lake, village lunch etc. Such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend anyone who would like to visit Habarana to choose Visu Villa as their stay. 🥰 I never expected this kind of a wonderful star hotel service in a budget villa like this. Make sure you put Visu Villa in your bucket list. ♥️

The staff at Blooming Resort were attentive to all our needs, organizing an experienced tour guide to take us around Anuradhapura, allowing us to explore places we hadn't seen during our previous three trips. Most days, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the resort, where the food was among the best we had in recent stays on the island. It reminded us of the delightful flavors of traditional Sri Lankan cooking, evoking memories of our grandmother's kitchen. Keep up the great work. We hope to see you soon.

I can't say enough about the kindness of Upali and his family during our 4 night stay. Upali is always friendly, smiling and helpful. He picked us up in his tuk tuk at the train and his wife made us a delicious dinner as we arrived quite late. Upali will help you organize your stay and will provide you with transportation at reasonable prices. We visited Sigiriya and Dambulla one day and Anuradhapura the second day. I highly recommend both excursions. Our 3rd day we were rained out from a village visit but we enjoyed a down day and explored Habarana a bit. The rooms are a good size, a/c worked well and shower was hot. Breakfast was Sri Lankan and was huge and we could never finish it all. For the price you pay, the value was excellent. We were also able to use the kitchen fridge to store some food and beers. I highly recommend this homestay and hope you choose to stay at Dulwan Guest House. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

The Sunhill looks good, is sparkly clean, has really comfortable beds and large bathrooms, and it's in a beautiful, quiet location, where the only sounds you'll hear at night will be the many birds on the lake lagoons nearby. What's more, Mr.Palitha and his family are amazing people that did everything and beyond to help me and make me feel welcome. The host also provided completely optional tuk-tuk tours to attractions in town and nearby (at very reasonable prices). There are plenty of shops and eateries and even a laundry place, within short walking distances. Can't recommend this place enough!

The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

The room is clean, has comfy, soft bedding, and has all essentials.Good lighting and plenty of electric sockets to charge our devices and work with my laptop.The bathroom was spotless and excellent hot water, so easy to use. The host, Mr. Gihan, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendliness and hospitality were amazing. He arranged to show us the glamor of the sunset on Mihintale rock.There is a really nice viewpoint to watch the sunset and surroundings peacefully. The breakfast options were amazing.Host Gihan's mother made delicious Sri Lankan foods with love. Rice and curry was heavenly.Mr. Gihan arranged our transport, and the driver was also very professional. We love everything about this place. We will certainly be back!
