It was incredibly tasty, with a perfect blend of local flavors that made every meal a delight. I also appreciated the cost-effectiveness of the hotel. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of service and accommodation provided. Plus, it’s located very close to the airport, making it a convenient choice for travelers. What truly stood out, though, was the excellent customer relations. The owner and staff made me feel welcome and valued, going above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. They also took the time to guide me on the best local places to check out, making my trip even more memorable. I would highly recommend Bamboo Tree to anyone looking for a quality, affordable, and friendly place to stay.

They even allowed us to stay past check out time due to our late departing flight. Would definitely stay again!

Kenneth set up Mango House originally to cater for Japanese tourists to Sri Lanka. Post-COVID he made the decision to open up to everyone and I'm so glad he did. The grounds are immaculate, and there is such an obvious sense of pride in what he does. The guest house is essentially it's own little compound with gardens and a pool, And is such a wonderfully peaceful break from the chaos.
