Nagtatampok ng hardin, ang Thomasha Homestay Wellawaya ay matatagpuan sa Wellawaya sa rehiyon ng Monaragala District, 34 km mula sa Demodara Nine Arch Bridge at 6.9 km mula sa Buduruwagala Temple. We all loved our stay with Thomasha and his family, they were all lovely and helpful with anything we needed. Thomashas wife even made us a delicious curry and rice for dinner. The building and rooms were all super colourful and cute. Brilliant location to experience a smaller local village but still able to access lots of nearby attractions

This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

Matatagpuan sa Kataragama, 21 km mula sa Situlpawwa, ang Wevthera Holiday Resort ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, terrace, at BBQ facilities. They let us check out 1400 no problem very accommodating.

Matatagpuan sa Bibile, 46 km mula sa Maduru Oya National Park, ang Nobel Regency ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at terrace. Fantastic place to stay , tucked away in the centre of Bibile within a quiet, beautifully secluded garden. The property is clean, spacious, and bright with two very usable verandahs . My room had a ceiling fan and a/c with an ensuit bathroom with hot and cold water . The owner, Ruwan, is a delight with a passion for providing the best service he can for his guests, and nothing is too much trouble for him or his staff . This is an extremely affordable hotel, and you won't find better for the price .

Matatagpuan sa Tanamalwila at maaabot ang Udawalawe National Park sa loob ng 31 km, ang Mayka's luxury holiday homes and Safari Thanamalwila ay naglalaan ng hardin, mga non-smoking na kuwarto, libreng... Mayka is a lovely host! She and her husband organised an amazing safari for us and were really helpful and accommodating.

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.

What an incredible hidden gem! if I could stay here for a week, I would. Our hut was just so beautiful, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Fernando and Christine are kind souls and it was a lot of fun playing music after dinner time. I watched the monkeys, rabbits, chickens and ducks get fed multiple times with fresh food in the short 24hrs that we were there - any review that doubts their care is wrong. Totally the best place to stay in the area!!

Set in Kataragama, Safari Lodge Yala provides a restaurant and garden views, 2.3 km from Kataragama Temple and 16 km from Lunugamvehera National Park. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Good stay for an early safari tour. We had an excellent tour with lots of fun. Ask for harsha if you want to have a motivated driver with the ultimate goal of seeing a leopard!
