Ging Oya Lodge er staðsett í Waikkal, í innan við 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Kammala-ströndinni og 10 km frá St Anthony's-kirkjunni. This is a little paradise. A big pool and lovely private chalets, right on the river which you can kayak down. Its fabulous! You're surrounded by jungle, and the food for amazing. Really loved it. The staff were friendly and sweet and we couldn't have asked for better during our last few days in Sri Lanka. This is expensive for Sri Lanka but its definitely worth it.

Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya er staðsett í Kalpitiya og býður upp á garðútsýni, veitingastað og sólarhringsmóttöku. Very quiet relaxing spot with well designed units. The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

The Backwater Lodge er staðsett í Wilpattu og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með sólarhringsmóttöku og lautarferðarsvæði. The Backwaters lodge has everything that a naturelover is looking for. We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

Kurumba Lodge er staðsett í Wilpattu, í innan við 39 km fjarlægð frá Kumbichchan Kulama Tank og 39 km frá Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, og býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi. Friendliness of hosts and lovely setting. Close proximity to Wilpattu National Park

The Sanctuary is an outstanding place. The building itself it’s beautiful designed and decorated, fitting in well to the natural surroundings. The room and all the fittings feel high quality and a luxurious, a real treat when budget back packing. The nature that it is surrounded by is truly beautiful and peaceful. The perfect place to sit back and relax! What makes The Sanctuary so special is the staff. So welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge of the animals and plants that you will see on walks around the premises is amazing, so well educated and genuine. The food cooked by mum is 10/10 and you will not leave hungry. They made our safari day so enjoyable and truly perfect!! I can not recommend this place enough, it’s a new venture for the team and they do it so well!! Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Maha Oya Lodge er staðsett í Waikkal og býður upp á garð, upphitaða sundlaug og borgarútsýni. Gististaðurinn er við ströndina og er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis WiFi. Really friendly and helpful owner! Felt really welcome there. Right next to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Nature Paradise Guesthouse er staðsett í Waikkal, 2,5 km frá Kammala-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði, útisundlaug og garð. Great host, fantastic pool and room with a view of the river.

Orlofshótel í Dummaladeniya East er staðsett í aðeins 1,2 km fjarlægð frá Kammala-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

Gististaðurinn er í Chilaw, 43 km frá kirkjunni St. Anthony's Church og 45 km frá Maris Stella College. Elegant Hamlets Home Stay býður upp á garð og loftkælingu. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The apartment is cozy, and the pool access with a private area and garden adds to the charm. It’s a peaceful and comfortable place. The hosts, Nerantha and his wife, are fantastic, they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The food is delicious, prepared and served with love and passion.

Wilpattu Green Cabin er staðsett í Achchamulai og býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir vatnið og ána. Amazing little place in the middle of the countryside next to a lagoon that you can swim in! (No crocs). Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Loved every minute of my stay
