The place was fabulous. Host Sachith and his wife were amazing. The atmosphere was the best. And the place was well maintained. And the food was delicious too.

Nice tent house, really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were greated by a welcome drink, the family cooked us a really nice 4 curry dinner. They also helped us organise a safari trip and gave us a king coconut on our way out. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Hasthi Safari Cottage está ubicado en Udawalawe, a 16 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, una terraza y un restaurante. We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.

This had to be one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The location is in a quiet area right on the river, perfect for relaxing but not too far away from the main town. While cooling off in the river you can enjoy the monkeys playing in the trees. The rooms were well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The thing we will remember the most about this place is the family that runs the hotel. I have never experienced such amazing hospitality. They were incredibly kind and generous. The traditional meals they prepared were outstanding and very flavourful ! They were able to arrange a wonderful safari for us and provided us with transportation to the elephant transit centre. I cannot recommend this place enough and wish we were able to stay longer!
