Beautiful property, rooms are very clean and spacious with your own private balcony and big outdoor area and hammocks to use. The staff were incredible, very friendly and kind and amazing customer service. The food was amazing and the safaris they offered were very easy and enjoyable.

This is the most home-like place we’ve been to in Sri Lanka. The location was easy to access, Dimu, the owner (who, btw, is super friendly and helpful) greeted us with some Kind Coconut Milk and prepared us the most delicious dinner and breakfast. The room we stayed in was clean, with no mold at all and well ventilated which made our stay there exceedingly pleasant. Besides that, Dimu helped us to organise the Safari Trip to Udawalawe National Park. The Safari driver advised us to not take a tour guide as he knew absolutely everything about the animals & birds that populate the area. This way we saved some money and had some great time. Therefore, we would definitely recommend the place to our friends and to everyone who’s reading this.

Forest Edge Safari Villa er staðsett í innan við 16 km fjarlægð frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum í Udawalawe og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. The safari with Suresh was excellent and good value for a four hour trip. Janith was the perfect host, communicative without being pushy and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also very delicious.

Very friendly family, delicious food, super clean and beautiful bungalow. We loved the outdoor shower. The host organized a half day Safari for a fair price (it was not the best Safari experience ever, however this wasn't the fault of the guide nor of the host. I guess if you don't wanna be the 6th Jeep in front of an elephant you either need to book a full day to go deeper into the park or go somewhere else). Regarding the accomodation and organization: everything wonderful, can recommend a 100%

Hasthi Safari Cottage er staðsett í Udawalawe, 16 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistirými með heitum potti, heilsulindaraðstöðu og vellíðunarpakka. Dasun, his family and friends are really nice people. They helped us to organise tha safari, the driver was also absolutely nice with us, we had a great trip. Dasun's mom made us always a huge and extremely good meal. The cottage was also really nice and comfortable. We absolutely recommend the place!:)

This had to be one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The location is in a quiet area right on the river, perfect for relaxing but not too far away from the main town. While cooling off in the river you can enjoy the monkeys playing in the trees. The rooms were well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The thing we will remember the most about this place is the family that runs the hotel. I have never experienced such amazing hospitality. They were incredibly kind and generous. The traditional meals they prepared were outstanding and very flavourful ! They were able to arrange a wonderful safari for us and provided us with transportation to the elephant transit centre. I cannot recommend this place enough and wish we were able to stay longer!
