Also an easy walk to Asan and the older sections of downtown Kathmandu, to Durbar Square... and a short walk to Swayambhunath. And on the top floor (where my room was) there is a large terrace where one can work/sit/eat/whatever, and from the window of the room, on a clear day, one can see the snow-peaked Himalayas! What more could one want in a Kathmandu hotel?
