So many little things had been thought of e.g emergency sanitary products, shaving gel, beach towels etc Nice big comfy bed and TV to watch after a long day exploring. Nice and quiet and can walk in to town quite quickly but the river is a little further. Lovely outdoor area for own use. Property was very clean.

The property is non-smoking and is located 27 km from Arena Manawatu. Fantastic area. Really nice and quiet. Some sheep right next to the house in an awesome garden. The house itself is very nicely done. Bit tight with the headroom in the bedroom, but shouldn't be a problem if you are a bit flexible. Everything looked really clean and new. Excellent choice!

Absolutely enjoyed our 2 night stay at Waikawa Beach Pod. The Pod is beautifully set up with all the amenities you require. We were generously welcomed with home baking and a bottle of wine. Set in tranquil country surroundings you can enjoy the indoor/outdoor flow and the beach close by. The beach is excellent. Richard and Christine our hosts are a lovely, welcoming couple. Loki their dog was also adorable. If you are looking for a space to unwind, relax, to breathe in the peacefulness we fully recommend the Pod. This gem is not for party-goers. The lodge is a prime example of how hospitality should be lived. Upon arrival, you receive a warm welcome – a personal touch and with a lovingly prepared aperitif. The hot tub is already heated and invites you to relax. All rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and provide a warm, inviting atmosphere. Added to this is the high standard of cleanliness – you feel at home from the very first moment. The beds are extremely comfortable; we slept wonderfully. The absolute highlight was the breakfast: individually prepared, fresh, plentiful, and simply delicious.
