We stayed in the Dome tent at the top of the hill. It was a fun experience with a good solution for a bath outside, and the staff was utmost helpful and acommodating. Both in terms of regular service and little things like providing my daughter with a flashlight when she and my wife wanted to explore at night. The breakfast and dinner is nice - served as a home cooked buffet, it was perfect for us. It was a wide array of options, from meat to vegetarian. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quick to assist and watchful of the place. The food was good and the place is very easily located from Tiwi town.

Salem Guesthouse is the best🧡 all the time i come to Oman I stay here, everything is just perfect. The rooms are super nice, clean , large. Salem is the best host ever, he is so helpful, friendly and he knows absolutely everything about the area, activities. The food at the guesthouse is sooo tasty, the service is great. Attention to details, friendly people, for sure this is one of the highlights of Oman🤍🤍 such a happiness to stay here everytime. I will come back in few months. I highly recommend this place for a complete travel experience in Oman🩷

Desert Heart Camp er staðsett í Bidiyah á Al Sharqiyah-svæðinu og er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gistirýmið er reyklaust. This was a perfect experience and definitley the highlight of our trip. The hospitality of Amur was awesome. Since we did not have 4*4 WD he provided our transfer. Our tent was comfortable with private bathroom. The showers were outside. After arriving to the camp we were welcomed with fruitbasked, dates spiced with a bit cumin& sesame and Omani coffee and tea. We had a car ride on the dunes for sunset. Our driver was friendly and experienced. Before dinner, Amur made bread from the scratch on camp fire. Dinner was delicious. We had salad, traditional bread soaked in sauce, rice with chicken and camel meet skewer. If you are vegetarian they prepare your meal accordingly. His family also came to the camp and welcomed us warm heartedly. After dinner his children sung and made music and we all danced together. At night the sky is cristal clear and full with stars. You can enjoy it next to campfire. You will sleep very well since the inside of the tent is dark and there is no voice except the rooster from another camp who has a funny time feeling:) beds are comfortable and you have 2 little windows for fresh air. There is light within the tent and bathroom. For shower torch is also provided. Breakfast was very good. We had crêpe, omlet, joghurt with raisin and pomegranate. Since it was eid, goat meat and honey was served as well. Camel ride, bike ride are also available. I do recommend this place and we will definitley plan another trip with Amur for another desert trip.

We did the boat trip and saw the dolphins, that were swimming next to us, turtles and sardines fishing.
