Before even arriving, we appreciated Chip & Yessica’s prompt responses to our questions & their efficiency in arranging details like airport pick-up. The hostel is in a great location. It has amazing views over the river. Conveniently located behind a fruit & vegetable market, it is also only a block or so from the scenic Malecon & the main historic plaza. The hostel is magical. The high-ceilinged rooms are completely covered with vividly coloured murals. It reeks of charm. We took a room with a private bathroom. It was huge & the one wall was solid window looking out onto the river. The room is well-appointed with a bar fridge, reading lamps, etc. linens & great wifi provided. The common room (where an excellent breakfast can be served) also has these amazing windows & views. Chip speaks English & he & Yessica have been in Iquitos a long while so can answer all questions.

Was abit skeptical to book it at first since there was no review available as it was new. But I was super glad that I chose to stay here. The owner Erika was very responsive whenever I had any questions. Besides, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. So did the bathroom. Additionally, there was even an AC in the room! Perfect for Iquitos weather. And there is a laundry service right at the entrance to the building, which makes life super easy after Amazon tour. Just that it closes on Sundays and I wished my stay wasn’t fall on Sunday 😅 Hence, whoever plan to stay here after Amazon tour and have a laundry service, arrange your days accordingly. :)

Casa Linda II er staðsett í miðbæ Iquito, aðeins 500 metra frá aðaltorginu, og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis WiFi. I came from 5 days jungle and this was the perfect place to relax. Bed was so comfy, the shower was fantastic, it was quiet and clean... I needed that and I got that there. Also got great and helpful tips from the staff, very nice!

My favorite hotel in Iquitos - I stayed here repeatedly and I've always enjoyed my stay very much. My room was really big and comfy, and it even had a private fridge, which definitely comes handy. I really liked the common areas as well. The owners and the staff are super nice and friendly, they even let me store my luggage when I was going to the jungle for few days. The area is nice, close to the main plaza, there are restaurants and supermarkets around. As a solo female traveler, I felt perfectly safe in the area.
