I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Close to restaurants and you have a snack bar right next-door, very close to the scuba diving center because that’s probably why you’re there (like us. Right?) Don’t hesitate, book right away! 😊

During our 5 weeks of travel aroud the world this was the best experience. The lodge is spacious, good quiet location, most of all very very nice owners who took care of us. And all four dogs are adorable😃

Hemti is a natural host, creating a tranquil, modern, and beautiful space - when at the lodge we lived on our private and spacious outdoor deck with gorgeous views of the gardens and ocean. Henri knows all the best places and provides exceptional recommendations for just about anything on both parts of the atoll and makes everything simple and easy. Yaks diving was superb and when I couldn’t get in the first day suggested a private dive with Serge of Arachamides diving where I had my first underwater encounter with dolphins.

Vahaui Paradis apresenta um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Avatoru. On the ocean side which brings ocean breeze! Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

Pension Turiroa " Chez Olga" localiza-se em Avatoru e apresenta um jardim, área de praia privada, terraço e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. We stayed in a triple room with shared bathroom. It was great ! The room was simple but nice. The bathrooms were clean. The location right by the beach is a plus. They have their own small private beach. The bungalows looked nice as well. I would have booked those one, but they were already full. The triple room comes with shared kitchen that has all the basic necessities to cook something. The pension is 15 min by walk from the airport and max 3 min by walk from the supermarket.

Rangiroa Bliss tem um jardim, área de praia privada, um terraço e restaurante em Tiputa. Rangiroa Bliss is as off-the-grid as you can get. "High-style" local Polynesian bungalows. Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.

AOTERA GUEST HOUSE apresenta um jardim, área de praia privada, um salão partilhado e terraço em Avatoru. Amazing place! Long endles beach, Laguna. To go there the take you with a speed boat...so boat trip is included :)...But only 7.30 a.m. for activities and back 5 p.m .Recommended!
