Inês and her husband are very caring hosts, when we arrived, we had a small welcoming from them and a presentation on the propriety and how the amenities were organised, the atmosphere was very relaxing and calm, the view is amazing and the pool has a decent size and is not very deep. To bath on the pool looking and the douro river and all the vineyards is just breathtaking. The breakfast has a great variety of food, homemade scones, cakes, and fruit you can choose from and Inês and her Husband are ready to help you if need. The rooms are big enough for a great night sleep. The other guests seemed to be on the same mood, everyone was very quiet and everyone behaved. There are a variety of nearby restaurants you can choose from if you like to get some lunch or dinner. Overall, if you need to get away from your world and enter a new dimension, this is a place to go to!.

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food se nachází v historickém venkovském domě obklopeném zahradou a vinicemi. Thank you to the whole family for making our stay a unique and wonderful one. David could not do enough for us. We loved Maria, such a lovely lady. Miguel, the owner, host and chef is a warm, generous man. The girls were also lovely, ensuring our enjoyment, comfort and safety (my husband is disabled and I have some current injuries that affect my mobility). Evenings with a delicious meal and good wines/ports from the estate were unique. There a are so few places that offer the opportunity to sit at a large family table and talk with your fellow travellers from all over the world while enjoying home cooked goodness. The views of the Douro from high on the mountain top were stunning. Thank you everyone for a most wonderful stay. This family understands hospitality in a big way and I highly recommend a visit if in the alto Douro.

We loved the location in the middle of a vineyard. Breakfast food was in the fridge when we arrived and fresh bread delivered each morning. Picked oranges from the tree in courtyard each day, fresh and delicious. Daniel was wonderful, when google maps got us lost about 5 iminutes from the property, we called Daniel and described where we were, he came in his car to guide us to the property. Spent a morning hiking amongst the vines, terrific views.

The host, Joaquin, was extremely kind, helpful and hospitable. The decoration of the place is great and it is equipped with whatever you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is heating for the colder days.

Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!
