Situated in Strängnäs and only 34 km from Bredsand beach, Pensionat Gyllenhjelmsgatan features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

This 19th-century guest house is located in central Mariefred. It offers free Wi-Fi access and brightly decorated studios with kitchenettes. Gripsholm Castle is a 5-minute walk away. Great location, and cozy + newly renovated rooms! Highly recommended for a small family and for easily exploring Mariefred town. We'd stay again.

Situated in Sparreholm, 36 km from Nyköping Train Station, Twister 53 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Small but atmospheric place by all means. Would suit everyone who is looking for a chill, quiet place to stay for a night or two. The venue has everything you need. Especially liked a cafe with a retro interior. And delicious waffles :) NB! Cafe is working only during weekends.

Set just 24 km from Parken Zoo, Arphus Lodge features accommodation in Eskilstuna with access to barbecue facilities, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The location was perfect for our purposes, near a main road. A nice, warm and clean cottage where to spend a night. A private bathroom is in next building. Lovely horse farm surroundings. We stayed there also in our way back :)

Excellent bed. Great breakfast Free parking. Lovely sauna! VERY FRIENDLY STAFF!! Leif made tea for me although I arrived after midnight, much appreciated!! Looking forward to my next stay 😀
