Despite the fact that we arrived already in the morning, they welcomed us warmly and accommodated us before 12 o'clock. At our request, they organized an e-bike rental for us, with which we drove to the Kolpa river and cooled off nicely in the very clean river! In the evening, we indulged ourselves with their house specialties and good local wines. The rooms are new and nicely decorated. The breakfast was varied and excellent.

This apartment has everything you need: very friendly host, free parking spot, great location and a clean, large comfortable apartment. What I loved the most (because it was February) the heating was turned on and it was warm.

I've never had food with such incredibly well-balanced seasoning, combined with the freshness of the local vegetables and meats. The seasoning brings forward the best part of the essential taste of the vegetables (Kohlrabi, for example, that is not bitter in the least, but fresh and lively), while also complementing the essential taste to a respectful degree. California cuisine is something that I eat frequently; this purports to showcase fresh, local vegetables in a similar fashion, but nothing I've had there for any price comes close to this. It was easily the best vegetable soup, fresh bread, and lamb I've ever had. The locale is idyllic, relaxed, and verdant. Three nights of this for less than half the price a single night's stay in a more expensive location (for example, Kitzbühel, where I am now).
