We found a hidden gem in the mountains from which we were able to hike to and from. The family room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were exceptional and the bathroom was brand new. In fact, everything was brand new there!! The hot showers run on a coin basis ( you get 3 minutes of hot water per coin). I was, at first a little worried but in the end 3 minutes is plenty of time to shower and even wash your hair! Perhaps the most striking aspect of our room were the 2 windows which provided beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. I mean...wow! The restaurant was very good, serving fresh and local products. I loved the barley soup! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Andrej is a wonderful host - very friendly, helpful and gave me some great suggestions for where to explore. I loved being slightly higher up in the valley - the view from my balcony was stunning and I really enjoyed my 40 morning walk down to the lake each day. There's a shop 2 minutes away and a lovely restaurant 1 minute away. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean - highly recommend staying here...

Incredibly friendly host and cozy room. It was very clean and perfect location for a few days of hiking/ exploring around Lake Bohinj. It felt like we were visiting family. Külalistemaja Alenka asub Bohinjska Bistrica kesklinnast 300 meetri kaugusel ning pakub tasuta WiFi-ühendust ja tasuta parkimist. The host met me at the front gate, a very friendly and warmhearted lady. The room was warm, comfortable and fully equipped, an ideal place to stay after a long-day of skiing. Views from the balcony was amazing. The place was easy to find, very good location for either shopping or going to Vogel. It definitely exceeded my expectation and was worth every penny. The few days there was the best part of my entire trip in Slovenia.
