Alenka is a gracious, experienced, professional host who is available and helpful. We were a little apprehensive knowing that we'd be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with other guests; however, we ended up having a great time with them, and the shared bathroom was not a problem. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, utensils and pans, although two burners and no oven for 6 people is a stretch. Parking on site was safe and convenient.

We found a hidden gem in the mountains from which we were able to hike to and from. The family room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were exceptional and the bathroom was brand new. In fact, everything was brand new there!! The hot showers run on a coin basis ( you get 3 minutes of hot water per coin). I was, at first a little worried but in the end 3 minutes is plenty of time to shower and even wash your hair! Perhaps the most striking aspect of our room were the 2 windows which provided beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. I mean...wow! The restaurant was very good, serving fresh and local products. I loved the barley soup! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Guest House Alenka si trova a Bohinj, nella regione Gorenjska (Alta Carniola), a 700 metri da Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj. The host met me at the front gate, a very friendly and warmhearted lady. The room was warm, comfortable and fully equipped, an ideal place to stay after a long-day of skiing. Views from the balcony was amazing. The place was easy to find, very good location for either shopping or going to Vogel. It definitely exceeded my expectation and was worth every penny. The few days there was the best part of my entire trip in Slovenia.
