My husband and I stayed at the Romani Villa for a few rest days after Bangkok and travelling for several weeks. We could not have picked a better spot - the location was so serene and quiet, set in a lush manicured garden. The cabin/villas are thoughtfully designed and the hosts are just so friendly. Great restaurants nearby and easy to get to by bike. Highly recommend

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. Very nice rooms in Lanna style, well-kept, equipped with practically everything in the room! Very quiet location and about a 15 minute walk from the centre! I was lucky enough to meet the owners,wife and husband, very helpful people.. we will be back very soon.

Set within 4.4 km of Clock Tower Chiang Rai and 4.6 km of Wat Pra Sing, Milin Guesthouse features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chiang Rai. I spent a week at Milin Guesthouse, the rooms are very nicely designed and very comfortable. location is in a Thai neighbourhood on the edge of town with everything you need nearby…I loved the experience of living amongst local people. The best part about staying here is the host. Alex is a very interesting guy with whom you could talk about anything in the world with. He also has his beautiful family living at the guesthouse who went out their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and Alex took care of my motorbike rental and laundry. On my last day as my flight wasn’t until the evening Alex let me keep the room to chill out in past check out time as it was so hot outside this time of year, I was also treated to dinner with the family and a couple of beers before I headed to the airport. This without a doubt has been my best experience of accommodation in Thailand, and I’ve been coming for years.

Great location short walk into town around 15 minutes. The staff were so very friendly and helpful !! Breakfast was amazing fresh food & coffee. Organised a tour with Baan Porderdin, Cheer our guide went above and beyond. So helpful and friendly nothing was a bother. We will definitely go back to stay at Baan Porderdin

The apartments are in a perfect location—close to the bus station and night market, making it easy to explore the city. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who led us through a charming covered courtyard with flowers and a fountain. The room was even better than in the photos—well-designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was set up so it didn’t blow directly on the head. The room also had a fridge, a kettle, and tea-making essentials. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was convenient, stocked with shampoo and toiletries. A delightful surprise was the breakfast in the courtyard by the fountain—soft music, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, jams, and freshly cooked eggs with vegetables, prepared individually for each guest. All of this was offered with a smile and at no extra charge. Thank you to the wonderful staff! We loved our stay and would have gladly stayed longer.
