I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

The attention to every little detail in the room really touched me. We spent two nights in the guesthouse. The beds are very comfortable and of a very high standard. Every piece of furniture, book, towel, pillow, lamp, and more were chosen with a lot of love. The location is perfect. Highly recommend.

The approach to the house is great; nice neighborhood and easy to locate. Once there I was greeted by Ms. Johnny, the lady who owns the house, after that she was nice to give us a brief tour of the house. Every room was clean and well designed with an old fashioned air about the place. There are plenty of pictures of her and family in every room showing her long history. The facilities on the property were well stocked. The bed was fantastic with fresh sheets that are layered well and semi firm mattress that is comfortable and provides maneuverability. There are two TVs, both with streaming services, that are located in the living room and bedroom. My partner and I were given privacy with our host only a phone call and short trip away.

He was very accessible and was there to greet us upon arrival. The location is also convenient. The house itself is great and we loved hearing the history behind the house and all the care Scott put into restoration. We would definitely stay here again. Also there is a beautiful bar adjacent!
