The owners were so friendly and helpful our whole stay, always available to answer questions and help rent motorbikes. They even scootered to the downtown area when I ran out of gas on my bike to get me back on the road again! Room was spacious and bed was a little firm but still comfortable. Shower had really strong water pressure, I found that it was better to use less than max pressure to make sure I had enough hot water. Location was great, quiet since it's away from town but a short 5 minute scooter ride into town. Beautiful views of the lake right outside. Also even though it's a little out of the main area, the transfer services I used knew where the hotel was and could do pickup/dropoff on the main road 100m from the hotel. Breakfast was different every day and so good, cooked fresh by the owners. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

The lovely Kim An welcomed us so warmly to her homestay that we immediately felt at home! Whether we had questions about Ha Long Bay, buying glasses, or having trouble with taxi drivers, Kim An was always there to help straight away :-) In addition to the very clean room, the linens are super soft and the bed comfortable. The garden area is a great place to have a relaxing breakfast and coffee, or a cocktail or beer in the evening. Not to be forgotten are the authentic American pizzas, which she lovingly prepares fresh on site and even makes her own ricotta, as it is extremely difficult to find in Vietnam. Another highlight are her two animal companions: the lively dog ​​Sophie and the kitten Phoenix, who curiously wanders around the beer garden and is up for any game 😍 The homestay is looked after every day, whether it is painting doors or watering the countless plants. Everything here is made with love, so much so that we had to move on with a tear in our eye. The homestay was our absolute highlight! Thank you very much for this wonderful time!

The owner is super friendly and helpful and speaks good English. She helped us with all our needs - to rent a motorbike, to book a boat tour for decent price. Our room on the 5th floor had an amazing sea view. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Situated in a local residential area, it is away from the noise of the center but a walk away from all the restaurants, shops and Ben Beo port. The owner lives right next door and is always available if there are any questions either in person or via WhatsApp. He arranged a motorbike for us and also can arrange tours. He speaks perfect English. We had a comfortable stay.

VietHouse Homestay Ha Long se nachází v ideální lokalitě ve čtvrti Bai Chay v destinaci Ha Long. Room has good view and the color was comfy. The window points to the main road and gét a lot of sunlight. Overall, it looks pleasure to the eyes. A big plus is that the room was really clean, from bed sheet, floor, etc. small things like that. The bathroom was also clean and neat. All sockets worked, and the host even offered bike rent. It was really easy and helpful. Most of all, the host was super supportive!! Really made my trip way easier and much more flexible. Thanks!

Despite not knowing much english you got the sense that the staff were really trying to make my experience enjoyable but unfortunately they were behind from the start. The traditional Vietam breakfast was superb. They arranged a trip back to Hanoi Airport at a very reasonable price for me which was very much appreciated. The location was not serviced by Grab so the owner personally drove me on his bike for a Night excursion cruise. That too was much appreciated.
