I chose this area because it is peaceful. Ann Villas is very clean and well maintained. My room was large and had excellent A.C. and a comfy bed. The bathroom was right next to my room. All together, I thoroughly recommend as an alternative to staying in the Old Quarter. There were heaps of street food and restaurants nearby. A Grab taxi will only cost a couple of £ to get you into the heart of the Old Quarter.
