This is definitely one of my favourite places I've stayed in. Frank was such a friendly and helpful person. I'd love to return to Wernigerode and have a beer with him as I'm sure he can tell some amazing stories. Thanks again for the Schierker Feuerstein and the outdoor public swimming pool recommendation. Nice idea to have the little walk at the cafe area with wooden figures depicting fables. Parking next to house. Most nights were quiet and easy to get good sleep. The hotel is very well situated and is only a short walk to the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly. The swimming pool was a real bonus and we used it a couple of times during our stay.
