Igor and his wife were so welcoming. We tried some grapes and other fruit they grew on the property, also homemade wine and vodka. We had some great conversation with the help of google translate. One of the best nights we spent in Armenia!

I spent one very comfortable and cozy night at Aspet with the owners, Агуники and Самвел. They were the best hosts one could wish for - always friendly and cheerful and ready to help you with anything. I booked last minute and showed up at 20:00 virtually unannounced, yet Самвел appeared immediately to help me park in the snow and thirty minutes later Агуники had prepared one of the best dinners I've had in ages (everything homemade on the premises). On a cold and snowy winter's night, nothing could have been better. The location is excellent, right up the street from Tatev Monistary. The room I had was large and the bed was comfortable. The silence at night guarantees a proper night's sleep. The breakfast was again terrific, with everything homemade and fresh. I was sad to leave and will stay here again.

The hosts are the nicest and the most welcoming people, we probably have ever met.
Unmatched hospitality!
Everything was clean and new.
The food was delicious and it was a lot of it. Everything was fresh and tasty.

The location is perfect, too. A few minutes walk to all popular destinations!
And we were lucky to experience snow!

Alex's b&b is a charming little apartment in their family home, independent and downstairs to their living area. Spotlessly clean, although there are no cooking facilities the kitchen has an electric jug and utensils for eating. The breakfast was delicious. There is also a washing machine, great for a clean up after hiking. Plenty of hot water. Quiet neighborhood.. No barking dogs!The family are kind and welcoming hosts.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Super hospitable and friendly people, parking place in the closed yard. Located in 5 minutes drive from Tatev air tramway. This place is perect if you are keen on communication with locals, the owner is quite famous on YouTube (search for Booze Traveler Armenia). If you'd prefer to stay on your own, here might be a little more attention, than you can expect. Anyway, my mother, whom I had been travelling with, was excited and the local booze is great!
Absolutely fantastic spot to stay for a few days! Igor and Gohar are lovely hosts, giving everyone a heartwarming welcome to their home. If you're in the area, do not hesitate to pick Igor's B&B for your accommodation.
