AustraliaI last minute booked this place with my girlfriend, when we got to the property we immediately felt unsafe as all the surrounding buildings were closed or boarded up with graffiti. I tried to be honest with the host and say we felt unsafe and ask for a refund before staying. He tried to convince us to stay. After I was honest with him and said we felt unsafe, he then got angry at me and began to yell. I also asked for a refund and he wouldn’t give us any. I reported it to booking and they also didn’t do anything. So I payed for this accommodation and another one that we felt safer at
