We are a group of 4 (two couples)and we absolutely loved staying at Hill Top Country Guesthouse. The location in the middle of Hunter Valley is amazing and there are so many activities to do around. The views are great. The guest house had an old fashioned style, but was very clean. Margaret is a kind hard-working woman who has been very hospitable to us. We would definitely stay here again.

How amazing is this location, quiet and relaxing and a perfect night for our 40th wedding anniversary. Evelyn and Stewart were so accommodating and made our stay feel like we were staying with family. The breakfast was delicious especially with our glass of sparkling ❤️

starting off the morning with a fresh loaf of homemade bread and having it with avocado and jam was a special touch. it is a quiet serene location that offers solitude and the pleasure of being able to just walk the vineyards and surrounding area or just sit quietly and enjoy a book. It is run by Connie who was delightful and provided us a wine tasting as well from her family's winery which is run by her father Phil.

    We self-catered during our stay, but it was great being able to use the kitchen facilities and also make use of the lounge area for relaxation upon arrival. Great location too, quiet and away from the main highway into town! Meg was a lovely host and was very accommodating while we were settling in.

    This place was a little off centre, but it was kind of a home stay with a difference where the owners live off site, separate rooms fully stocked with fridge, coffee, tea, fridge and central communal areas and en suite . Brand new house. Absolutely perfect for singles or a group booking. We would love to come back when we are in NSW . A Shame we had to leave early morning. 😢 They are still renovating, can't wait to see the finished product. Cheers Andy and Ellie
