United StatesRafael and his family showed us INCREDIBLE hospitality. His wife made dinner for us, and we were invited to their family member’s wedding. Hiked up to Alinja fortress. Tried the special lemons and walnut “jam” in Ordubad. Got a warm welcome from a local family as we walked through the village. They asked to take photos with us and gave us freshly made qutab with wild greens All delicious treats! Got a military escort to Gulustan tomb. We had the complete Nakhichevan experience during our short visit. We could not have asked for a better time.

The guesthouse is comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, have the necessities and clean. It is also close to a shawarma shop with lovely lady owner nearby. The owner can also provide tour around Nakchivan, he is very knowledgeable and will provide you with lots of information. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every evenings with him. Will take you for tour or will organise it. Always smiling and happy and same is with his lovely wife. Always ready to go extra mile.
