This is one of those hidden gems where ten out of ten points is a way too paltry score for what the place actually offers.
This is a very clean and well thought out apartment, where one can tell that much attention has been put in all kinds of details. I mean, olive oil, pepper and salt provided in the kitchen: one doesn't see that that often. Awesome bed, lovely interior. The apartment also does great justice to its name: it definitely is cosy.
End of this review? Heck no, because we didn't speak about the garden yet. A big, well-maintained garden, with 1) a lovely terrace 2) a big swimming pool and 3) a jacuzzi just for the guests alone, not to be shared with anyone else. Did we enjoy it? Oh you can count on that, we enjoyed it to bits. We were almost forgetting that this place is very central to all kinds of touristic things in the neighborhood, which is a big plus.
The hosts are also great. We are Dutch speaking, the hosts are French speaking, but the language barrier was not an issue, as the hosts are also very fluent in 'hospitality' and 'making you feel welcome and at home' too!

The owners of the house are wonderful. Very welcoming and very friendly. Our bedroom was clean and very adequate for our stay. The shared bath also was clean and provided all the amenities for shower, hair dryer, etc.
The lady of the house (I forgot her name) was very friendly but spoke only French. We know a little French so we were able to understand and make ourselves understood.
We had access to the kitchen to make coffee in the morning. She also gave some biscoff biscuits to have with our coffee. Also some pears from their garden. She sent us on our way with some more pears and apples.
We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was decent, just bread, jams, meats, and cheese, the usual fare. They made soft boiled eggs if you ask for them. Fire in the fireplace in the evening was nice, the owners were friendly but didnt speak hardly any English.
